One of our founders is an artist herself and understands how annoying the art world is and how much time goes into self-presentation. This should be easier, which is why we came up with Luminium. Build relationships in a space where artistic work is the point, not a niche inside a general-purpose feed. People want to know who you are, they want to know what your art is about. This is why we ask you to write artists statements, by the way.

Clear terms and conditions. A meaningful share for you.
You decide which works to offer and set the selling price within Luminium's minimum-price and quality guidelines. Artist share is 40% (Free) or 60% (Premium) of the net print price after accounting for production costs. Shipping and taxes are excluded. Figures below are estimates, not a guaranteed payout.

Questions artists ask most.
Is it free to join Luminium?
Yes. Artists can create a free account and, after approval for selling, receive a 40% share of the net print price remaining after production costs. Optional Premium increases the share to 60% and adds advanced tools like virtual placement of art works in order to help prospective visualise it on their walls..
Who can sell work?
Luminium is intended for independent visual artists, photographers, and digital artists. Selling access is reviewed so the marketplace can maintain a coherent quality standard. We don't want to be gatekeepers like traditional galleries though.
Do I need to produce or ship anything myself?
No. Luminium coordinates print production, payment, shipping, and customer support through selected production partners.
Do I control what is offered?
Yes. You choose which works to offer and set the selling price within applicable minimum-price, format and quality guidelines.
Can physical artworks be included?
Yes, provided a suitable high-resolution digital file exists. Luminium also offers a professional digitisation service for selected physical works, so far only available in Berlin.
