"Wasserburg" began with the road falling toward the lake. I kept the trees almost unnaturally dark so the yellow mountain and the little red roofs could glow beyond them.

Intentional. I wanted the descent to pull the eye through the trees and into the distance, toward the water, the houses, and the sun above everything.
